Wander across the field from the beautiful upper reaches of the River Fal through the delightful landscape of this part of the Roseland Peninsula and you will find a wonderful retreat at Ardevora Mill. Located outside the historic little village of Philleigh, down a long farm track, this is the perfect place for those looking for peace & tranquility!
Despite its rural location, Ardevora Mill is only a 10 minute drive to the nearest beaches at Pendower and Porthcurnick. Both of the villages of St Mawes & Portscatho with their shops, restaurants and art galleries are within easy reach.
Ardevora Cottages are 3 single-storey barns that have been carefully converted, retaining many original features. With high ceilings, original beams and very comfortable furnishings the Owners have created a superb hideaway. Crowjy adjoins the next door property, Ardevora an Gylen, which are combined to provide accommodation for up to 9 people and have a doorway between the 2 units. A third property, Ardevora Vean sleeps 2 people and is located a few steps from the other properties and adjoins the mill.
You will be warmly welcomed to Ardevora by the Owners who really go out of their way to make you feel totally at home in this very special place.

Crowjy: Ground Floor only: Open plan lounge with 2 steps upto the kitchen & dining area with access to the patio & garden. A good sized double bedroom with king size bed. There is a further triple bedroom & wet style shower & WC.
An Gylen Ground Floor only: Open plan lounge with double sofa bed, kitchen & dining area with access to the patio & garden. A twin room with views over the garden. A wet style shower / WC.
Vean Ground Floor only: Open plan lounge, kitchen & dining area, access to a delightful courtyard garden. A double/twin room with zip & link with views over the garden. A wet style shower / WC.

All bed linen & towels are provided. Inclusive oil fired under floor heating and electricity. Parking is available for a number of cars. A cot & highchair are available on request. The Owners have kayaks available to explore the river at your leisure. Regret no dogs or smoking allowed.

The tiny tranquil Cornish village of Philleigh is in superb countryside in the heart of the rural Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall. Famous for its sixteenth cetury pub, The Roseland Inn, Philleigh is ideally located for exploring the countryside of the Roseland Peninsula whilst only a ten minute drive from the superb beaches around Portscatho. The D-Day embarkation points at Turnaware Point and Smugglers Cottage are only a short drive from Philleigh. Smugglers Cottage is also a great place for a waterside Cornish cream tea!
The nearest pubs are the Roseland Inn at Philleigh or the Kings Head at Ruan Lanihorne, both of which serve excellent food. There are shops, restaurants and local facilites in Portscatho & St Mawes.
