Lemon Chapel Cottage is one of those warm traditional cottages where you feel so at home. Full of charm and character, from the rustic cottage kitchen with it's Aga to the beamed lounge to the country style bedrooms, Lemon Chapel Cottage just feels like a lovely home. There is even a utility room at the rear which can double as a boot room after those long walks through the heavenly surrounding countryside. Originally a farm workers cottage, Lemon Chapel Cottage is still part of historic Court Farm at Philleigh which has been in the ownership of a local family for generations. The owners will let you explore the beautiful pastoral landscape with its superb walks and stunning little creeks. The cottage is only a short walk from the centre of the iydllic, rural village of Philleigh with its famous 16th Century Roseland Inn. The Roseland villages of St Mawes, Portscatho and Veryan are only a short drive away. The sandy beaches of Porthcurnick, Pendower and Towan are little more than a 10 minute drive away. AccommodationGround Floor: A rear porch leads into the kitchen / dining room with a fitted kitchen and a large table with 6 chairs.
The oil fired AGA is to one side.
The large lounge has a beamed ceiling with a Cornish slate open fire place containing a gas fired wood buring stove. A utility room and shower room are at the rear. The Aga-style cooker keeps the living space particularly warm. There is a TV with digital & a DVD player in the living room. A barbecue and outside furniture are available in the garden. There is a washing machine in the utility room. A cot & high chair are available. Miscellaneous Linen, electricity and heating are all included. You must bring your own towels. A well behaved dog is permitted at a small additional charge. No smoking is allowed. There are two off road car parking spaces. Arrival / Departure is on a Friday.
Short breaks are available at certain times of year.
