We’ve a huge number of fabulous dog friendly holiday homes in St Mawes and across the Roseland Peninsula. The Roseland is an ideal place to bring dogs, many beaches are dog friendly and most of the pubs are too! There are miles and miles of coast paths to explore for both those with four feet and those with just two. From St Mawes you can catch foot ferries to Place Manor to explore St Anthony’s Headland. In the other direction a ferry to Falmouth, and onward to Trelissick & Truro.
Porthcurnick & Towan Beach are dog friendly all year round. Carne & Pendower Beaches do allow dogs all year round, but have summer restrictions. If you’re staying in St Mawes at low tide follow the coast path past the castle and you’ll find lots of hidden beaches. Alternatively the harbour beach allows dogs, but it can be busy during peak season with boats and dinghies.
Do check individual properties for the maximum number of dogs permitted and if there is a small additional fee to pay. We do ask pet owners to kindly refer to the specific terms regarding dogs in properties. If your dog does a particularly good impression of Houdini, then do please double check the gardens
