Being only a ten minute drive from the superb beaches around Portscatho and Carne & Pendower this is a great place for a family holiday.

Philleigh is only a 5 minute drive from the King Harry Ferry providing easy access to Falmouth, Truro, the Lizard Peninsula and beyond. You can also visit The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project towards the east of Cornwall. Why not combine a visit to the gardens with a stop at Charlestown where many scenes from Poldark were filmed.

The D-Day embarkation points at Turnaware Point (another Poldark location) and Smugglers Cottage are just a few minutes drive from Philleigh. In St Mawes & Portscatho you will find many great pasty & cream tea shops and cafes. Check out Miss V’s Tea Rooms near St Just in Roseland Church and The Thirstea Co at Towan Beach.
