Heathfield is a gem of a property four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a spacious, open plan living & dining room and separate TV snug which is ideal to keep children entertained, the feel of the entire property is bright and spacious with a beautiful garden there are distant sea views across to Pendennis Point and the Lizard around every corner. The garden is mainly lawn with mature shrubs and has been thoughtfully fenced to provide dog security. The south-facing patio is a sun trap and there is plenty of garden furniture including dining table and chairs, two sofas with removable cushions, sun loungers and a parasol. The Masterbuilt charcoal wagon smoker/barbecue is a beauty and will have the taste buds tingling.

Heathfield is just a short 5-minute walk from the pretty harbour area of St Mawes. There is a selection of pubs and hotels to choose from plus a small range of shops. You can also access the passenger ferry to Falmouth. If getting onto the water is important Heathfield is just a 5-minute walk to either the St Mawes Sailing Club Quay, Freshwater Boatyard, Polvarth or Summers Beach. There are a plethora of brilliant walks nearby, either from your door or within a short drive. There are a tremendous variety of beaches nearby should you wish to find, golden sands, rock pools, dog-friendly, busy with facilities or quiet and secluded, all can be found close by on the Roseland. In 2020 Which poll, St Mawes was voted the number 1 seaside resort in the UK, if you haven't experienced the village before it will not take long to fall in love with astonishing vista before you.

Ground Floor only: Enter into a small lobby, storage space for coats, boots and shoes. Snug TV lounge with a large, flat-screen TV and comfortable sofas. Open plan living/dining room with sliding doors to patio, dining table and chairs, comfortable sofas, Smart TV, Sunroom with chairs and views to Pendennis Point and the Lizard. Kitchen with fitted storage cupboards and a range of appliances. Twin bedroom with storage, sliding door to garden and a wall-mounted TV. Twin bedroom with storage. Shower room with WC and hand basin. Utility area. Master bedroom 4'6" double bed, full height mirrored wardrobe, sea views. Twin bedroom with storage and sea views. Master shower room with large rainfall shower, WC and hand basin. Bathroom with shower over the bath. WC with hand basin.
Exterior: Large patio with external furniture, fully enclosed garden which is fenced and dog safe. There is a large, charcoal, Masterbuilt BBQ/smoker wagon. Comfortable sofas with removable cushions, sun loungers, parasol, dining table and chairs. There is parking for at least four cars in the drive.

Facilities & Services
Heating is via LPG gas central heating system with radiators, there are additional on-demand electric radiators. The kitchen has a range of equipment. There are an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, full height fridge, full height freezer, washing machine and a dishwasher. The utility room has a sink. The sitting room and snug TV room both have Smart TVs & there is also a DVD player. There is a hairdryer, iron & ironing board.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. There are parking facilities for at least 4 vehicles. Unlimited WiFi is available. Well behaved dogs are welcome at Heathfield at the small additional cost of £30 per dog per week. Dogs must not be left unattended in the property.. There is a travel cot and high chair available on request.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. Ideally located, a five minute walk to the harbour (a minute or two longer on the return due to the hill), restaurants, pub and beach. The view from the lounge is wonderful, looking across the sea. The property is very well equipped and laid out. A larger bed with more comfortable mattress, plus an updated kitchen, to the same very high standards of the bathrooms and cloakrooms would be a bonus. The fully enclosed large garden was ideal for our dogs, and the patio furniture provided us with a great rest area. WiFi and broadband were fine. Mel and Alan, the property managers were very easily contactable and attentive. With the changes mentioned carried out we’d definitely return to Heathfield, and even without it would be on our shortlist.

Heath field is a fantastic holiday home - we have stayed in quite a few holiday rentals but this one was the best equipped so far. Everything you need and more is provided. The property is large and could easily accommodate 4 adult couples without falling over each other!! The garden is massive and perfectly secure for dogs or small children. A huge private drive with plenty of parking. Even little touches such as the homemade biscuits and flowers plus a personal note makes it feel really special. I would recommend this property to anybody.

Fantastic bungalow well presented in a excellent location . Needs some new mattresses and maybe move the gardener to Saturday as 6 hours on a Wednesdays can take a day out of your holiday if you want to use the lovely garden.

Firstly we would like to say what an amazing team we booked through, very attentive and helpful throughout the whole process, thank you so very much. Well, being a regular yearly visitor to Cornwall, the thought of not going to the west coast was slightly daunting, but, what a treat St Mawes and Heathfield was. The house is just perfect, I think we were probably one of the 1st visitors by the looks of it, it was so clean and fresh and clearly very well looked after, with most stuff looking like new. We had our well behaved dog with us and the size of the lovely garden was amazing, and completely secure, we spent most evenings bbqing and just relaxing there. When we arrived, the dinning table had a lovely welcome note and some home made treats, all bagged and labelled for us, even home made bone shaped doggie biscuits, a lovely gesture.
