With no hope of getting holiday leave for a week decided at the last moment to take a four night late availability break. Booking the reduced late break was easy and the contact from the managers of the property was very helpful. cannot be faulted. The property was easy to find and only a short walk from the small beaches and harbour, albeit a short uphill walk back was not a problem for us. The garden was fantastic for playing games and was loved by the dog. The property was spotlessly clean and with 3 bathroom or showers along with views over the river towards Falmouth and Pendents castle cannot be faulted. However certain areas need updating including the kitchen units, but was compensated by excellent appliances. The weather was better than forecast and we had a great time. If able we would have stayed longer.

Beautiful house in a stunning location with St Mawes harbour just a short stroll away. Whilst a couple of rooms may need a little updating this does not detract from the rest of the immaculate house or impact your stay. The lounges and dining room are fabulous with views either out to sea or the large gardens which wrap around the property. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again and even on rainy days was more than happy to just sit in the lounge and feel lucky to have chosen this house for my stay in Cornwall.

Heathfield was an ideal spot for our family holiday - off street parking for 3 cars was really convenient. As a bungalow it was ideal for an active toddler and the large safe garden was great for the older children to play. Only a short walk to the harbour, although obviously quite steep hill to return. The kitchen does need updating, but would not deter us from booking again - we love St Mawes!

We stayed here as part of my moms 83rd birthday celebrations with family also staying in at Mawes. The house is clean, spacious with gorgeous gardens abs views. Plenty of parking and for the able an easy walk to the harbour. Thank you

Situated slightly overlooking the lovely picturesque harbour of St Mawes, this spacious property is just what we wanted. A short walk down a steep hill, or not so steep, if you follow the main quiet road round, to a handful of bars and restaurants. A regular ferry takes you to Falmouth if more shops are what you’re after. Or you can sit down near the harbour watching the world go by. There’s some benches you can sit on overlooking the bay whilst watching the sun go down, beautiful. Great beaches only a 15 min drive away if you’re after a large beach as we were to exercise our dog. Our favourite was Carne beach. There was also one a bit nearer which had a great cafe. Loved our stay here would definitely return.

We had a great family stay here, making full use of the lovely garden. The helpful owners were great.

Great location brilliant for dogs just one little snag the beds were small a bit uncomfortable. Don't let this put you off.

Lovely clean spacious house, very well laid out with a fantastic enclosed garden - perfect for us and the dogs! St Mawes is picture postcard perfect and the village centre is a short walk from the house. Only minor negative comment is that the kitchen and bathroom on the kitchen side could do with modernisation - but that certainly wouldn’t stop us coming again!!

We enjoyed our stay very much the flowers and treats made us feel very welcome. The bungalow is very comfortable and the location was excellent for town

The house is as shown on the pictures , immaculately clean and bright , plenty of space , big garden, and an absolutely lovely couple is taking care of it . We only wish we could come back again very soon !

We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. Ideally located, a five minute walk to the harbour (a minute or two longer on the return due to the hill), restaurants, pub and beach. The view from the lounge is wonderful, looking across the sea. The property is very well equipped and laid out. A larger bed with more comfortable mattress, plus an updated kitchen, to the same very high standards of the bathrooms and cloakrooms would be a bonus. The fully enclosed large garden was ideal for our dogs, and the patio furniture provided us with a great rest area. WiFi and broadband were fine. Mel and Alan, the property managers were very easily contactable and attentive. With the changes mentioned carried out we’d definitely return to Heathfield, and even without it would be on our shortlist.

Heath field is a fantastic holiday home - we have stayed in quite a few holiday rentals but this one was the best equipped so far. Everything you need and more is provided. The property is large and could easily accommodate 4 adult couples without falling over each other!! The garden is massive and perfectly secure for dogs or small children. A huge private drive with plenty of parking. Even little touches such as the homemade biscuits and flowers plus a personal note makes it feel really special. I would recommend this property to anybody.

Fantastic bungalow well presented in a excellent location . Needs some new mattresses and maybe move the gardener to Saturday as 6 hours on a Wednesdays can take a day out of your holiday if you want to use the lovely garden.

Firstly we would like to say what an amazing team we booked through, very attentive and helpful throughout the whole process, thank you so very much. Well, being a regular yearly visitor to Cornwall, the thought of not going to the west coast was slightly daunting, but, what a treat St Mawes and Heathfield was. The house is just perfect, I think we were probably one of the 1st visitors by the looks of it, it was so clean and fresh and clearly very well looked after, with most stuff looking like new. We had our well behaved dog with us and the size of the lovely garden was amazing, and completely secure, we spent most evenings bbqing and just relaxing there. When we arrived, the dinning table had a lovely welcome note and some home made treats, all bagged and labelled for us, even home made bone shaped doggie biscuits, a lovely gesture. A lovely week spent in a love house. Thank you.
