Very disappointed that I can't rebook for next year prices too high now. Ideal if there is four people sharing but for two it's too much
We have stayed in Little Egret many times now because it is very local in centre of St Mawes. The apartment has everything you need for comfort and even has its own allocated parking space.
Booking again it was lovely although I went on holiday with a very bad back, I still managed to enjoy the stay ?
Excellent accommodation and great help from housekeeper, Bee. Centrally situated close to all amenities.
We had a much needed comfortable, relaxing stay at Little Egret. Very convenient location for restaurants, takeaways and walks around St Mawes and on the Roseland Peninsula. Only a half hour drive to The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
the have stayed at Little Egret many times as it is very comfortable, excellent location and provides everything you need.
Little Egret has everything you need for a comfortable stay and also has a dedicated parking space which is a real bonus in St Mawes. This is not our first stay at Little Egret and we have already booked another week in 2020 so I think that says enough.
A last minute booking to visit Cornwall . I have stayed in the area before so know St Mawes very well. The flat was very well equipped and as we only had a short stay we did not use the kitchen which was very nice. Shower and bedrooms were lovely and view across harbour great. Only one thing to improve Little Egret would be to improve the hot water flow in the kitchen to speed washing up, but this is not a big issue and would not stop us from staying again. Due to its position other visitors should be aware of a little noise from the Rising Sun and bar adjacent to the car park later in the evening . This was not a problem for us. Having a car park space was really useful. So overall its a YES for a secret hideaway in a place that's has hardly changed in 50 years !
Everything was ok to excellent, but it was the first rental that that I have ever taken that did not supply at least one roll of toilet paper!
Spur of the moment decision for weekend away. Picked Little Egret and was great decision. Perfect location in centre of village, parking space a short walk away. Terrific view out of window. The flat was toasty warm, lovely modern kitchen and bathroom, former having all the equipment you would need should you feel like cooking. Co-op about 2 mins walk for provisions. 2 pubs , one opposite and one a short walk for good beer and bar meals. Large living room with dining table. We had lovely time, lots of walks, ferry to Falmouth(using discount vouchers which came with the booking) and sun night cinema in St Mawes hotel. Just the 3of us in private 25 seater cinema with free popcorn- great fun. Would thoroughly recommended Little Egret and great value for money. Would love to return again
Very spacious apartment and very well equipped. We have stayed her before and it was once again a great base in the centre Of St Mawes. With the added bonus of a dedicated parking space
Very spacious apartment. Comfortable and well equipped. Had a small problem when we arrived but the housekeeper was brilliant and had it fixed in no time! Added bonus of allocated car space. Excellent location with view over the harbour. We will definitely stay here again.
from booking to departing, everything was as advertised, all instructions where exactly as said great base for exploring the surrounding area, we will be back
Very comfortable, ideal location with a sea view. Although there was only two of us, this Apartment was spacious enough for 4 persons. You have your own parking space in the car park at the back of the premises. Little Egret is right in the village of St. Mawes and only a few steps away from Pubs, café / tea room, restaurants and shops. You are also able to catch the St Mawes to Falmouth Ferry in the harbour which is only a few metres up the road. Just leave your car in the car park, catch the Ferry and have a great day in Falmouth. We only had a few days here, but will certainly return to have a few days more.
A superb flat in a great position which is very well equipped and has a very convenient parking spot.
Accommodation is excellent. A very comfortable apartment with sea harbour views. The apartment is very clean and well presented with easy access to shops, restaurants and pubs.
A very comfortable, well equipped flat near the harbour and shops, lovely views across the bay. Modern and light , kitchen has every thing you need, would recommend .
We had a wonderful long weekend with the family, good choice to eat and drink in the village, weather was kind would love to come back thank you.
As forecast, showery weather was always in the offing. This failed to impact an enjoyable stay, with Little Egret an assured safe haven. We rambled around Penzance and then Mousehole, in pouring rain an atmospheric experience. An evening meal at the Kings Head at Tregony, lunch at The Nare and a cream tea at the Rose in Vale at Mithian provided some of the highlights. There again, strolling across beautiful beaches takes some beating.
We had an excellent holiday while staying at Little Egret, with good access to the coast path for walking and good local pubs and restaurants. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. It is an excellent base for exploring the Roseland Peninsula.
Tidy, warm, and had all we needed for a very homely stay. Wi-fi was great, especially as only phone signal down by the harbor. Local area has all that you could need and lovely friendly folks. Highly recommend Little Egret!
Little Egret was such a lovely first-floor apartment - cosy, comfortable, with the most amazing view across the bay. Friendly pubs, restaurants and coffee shops abound, and nearby is a newly-refurbished supermarket, and butchers and bakers with fresh local produce. The regular passenger ferry will take you across the bay to Falmouth, and a ten-minute walk will take you to the castle, built by Henry VIII and the sub-tropical gardens of Lamorrans.
We found Little Egret clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It is in an ideal location for visiting St Mawes, with easy access to the ferries and to various coastal walks or, if it rains, it is very pleasant just to sit on the sofa and watch the boats and the sea.
We had a great time in st Mawes. Good food and a nice quiet location. The weather was good most of the time. The views were beautiful all in all a relaxing time.
We had a great week and loved the view from the flat and roof terrace. The kitchen was very well equipped. The only minor problem was the hot tap in the kitchen only produced a trickle. The EU fi was good and the information on the local area was very useful.
No one to contact on weekends. We had power cut, no torch to be found, not knowing property had to hunt for candles and matches. TV stopped working no one got back to me. Caretaker very rude could have informed me as she knew it was a holiday let apartment! No oven gloves so how do you get hot food out of oven! Did not supply washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets. I have stayed at several rental properties before and have been expected to provide these items myself. When complaining told there is a co op round the corner! A bit of s cop out! The company providing the rental etc should make sure it is equipped properly. Also the fact no one is in the office on a Saturday morning when most people leave/arrive!
We've stayed at Little Egret before and, as last time, were not disappointed.
We chose Little Egret because of its location and the photo on the website of the cosy looking sittingroom and were not dissapointed! Comfortable, clean appartment with everything needed to enjoy a stay. A 2 minute walk to the ferry for Falmouth and a 10 minute meander up the road to view the Castle. Fortunately for us the weather was warm ( 20 celcius) over the weekend we stayed and that was a bonus but l imagine Little Egret is a great place to stay anytime of year. Would definitely return.
Good sized flat with plenty of room and a high degree of comfort. Sea views and dedicated parking space in car park behind. Kitchen well equipped. St Mawes a fabulous location with good pubs and food.
Good sized unit, with comfortable bedrooms and a well appointed kitchen, although it did smell a bit of smoking. It was in a good position with parking. Wifi was good, Pity there was no hairdryer and the washing was £6 per load. Enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend the unit.
Our five-day break was very reasonably priced. Perfectly positioned, with free car-parking, Little Egret met all our expectations. It didn't matter that the weather was 'changeable'.
We spent a long weekend at Little Egret in early November. We found the flat clean, cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. We loved having sea views and being near the sea front. The flat was exactly as it looked on the website. We would definitely stay here again. It was also interesting to experience St.Mawes out of season.
Lovely spacious apartment next to village square and just across the road from the seafront. We travel to St. Mawes at least once per year & Little Egret was a great find which I booked ay the last minute after seeing it on Facebook, we will certainly be back. The free reserved parking space is an added bonus due to there being little or no parking except in the village car park which is really busy.
hi all was good , lots of quality restaurants nearby , lovely village friendly people, all facilities in apartment were good.great view from the lounge. the roof garden is ok but not for us overall very good
A delightful apartment in an excellent location in the centre of St Mawes. Very comfortable and with everything on hand it makes an ideal gettaway break.
Little egret in St. Mawes is a great place to stay. It has a central location in a beautiful , typical Cornish town. The apartment has stunning views and provides everything needed for a relaxing holiday .
