Had a lovely break in Gerrans/Portscatho. Cottage was well placed, comfy with good facilities. Great to have en-suite in addition to downstairs bathroom. Pleasant garden with sunny patio, great for alfresco dining. Off road parking, close proximity to footpaths and just a short stroll to Portscatho village centre. Roseland Peninsula pretty and no too busy.
Honestly we felt we fell on our feet when we found this at the last minute. It is honestly a great cottage, very well equipped and thought out. Great garden, comfy bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was easy to find, easy to gain entry and the off street parking was very useful. I would thoroughly recommend it!
Very enjoyable week spent at this property.
Couldnt have chosen a better week for the weather.
Location great / spent each day on the beach.
Local facilities excellent- shop/ pub/ boat house. Hidden hut lovely
Only concern oil fulled boiler as did experience fumes in on suite directly above. Otherwise lovely property.
the house was good and location pretty good, but the quality of the interior (especially carpet in sitting room + duvets in main bedroom) was poor. No door on ensuite bathroom in main bedroom either . and for £1500/week - this was expensive, although perhaps Covid had pushed the price up. Still
Comfortable, and generally clean (carpet was a bit marked but that did not matter to us as long as we didn't get the blame!).
Just what we were looking for, though prices seem to have gone up generally this year. Location great for us as we needed to be in this specific area for sailing on the Percuil river. Short walk to pubs, waterside at Portscatho and coastal path. Can do a lot of local exploring without having to use the car.
Good garden furniture.
A dryer would be helpful for anybody staying more than a week or doing a lot of washing or watersports.
Would be very happy to stay here again. Very straightforward arrangements, and we had no problem with anything during the stay.
