Willows and Pollaughan Farm are a great place to stay with small children, who loved the animals. Fleur looked after us well. However, this is not a 5* property as described. The building suffers from condensation and is in a poor state. Kitchen units are peeling and some doors and windows are rotting. The sitting room needs some table lamps or standard lamps because otherwise it is only lit by the ceiling lights. There is so much potential here, but until the accommodation is upgraded the description is inaccurate and the price too high.
See above plus feeding animals-my grand daughter loved it was superb.
Owners were brilliant and their advice on where to go was second to none!
The farm is gorgeous and everyone there was extremely welcoming and friendly, nowhere was off limits we could explore and see the animals whenever we wanted too.
The cottage was stunning, plenty of space, lovely and warm and very clean. When we arrived there was a welcome hamper on the table with tea, coffee, biscuits, some crisps, a bottle of prosecco and 2 scones with cream and jam which was such a lovely welcome after a very long drive! They provided toilet roll, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, even herbs for cooking!
Genuinely lovely stay in a beautiful setting, will definitely be returning!
The willows at Pollaughan was everything we needed for a weeks stay over Feb half term. It was clean and tidy, and the view from the window out onto the garden and nature pond was just idyllic. The children enjoyed exploring the farm and playing on the trampolines. Pollaughan is in a great location for exploring the Roseland and there is a footpath which takes you to nearby Rosevine and the beach. We would definitely recommend the Willows and hope to stay there again soon.
Really enjoyed a short break. The farm is in a fantastic location and the cottage itself was spacious and met all our needs. All the rooms were clean and the cream tea on arrival was very much appreciated.
