Beaches on the Roseland, Cornwall
There are a good number of good beaches on the Roseland Peninsula. On the Carrick Roads side (facing Falmouth) they are mostly pebbly. Here you will find the evening sun and the most protected beaches. From St Anthony Head and up the east coast of the peninsula the beaches are sandy. These are best for morning sun, but they can be a little more exposed with certain wind directions.
Porthcurnick Beach & Towan Beach are both dog friendly all year round, both with fantastic cafe’s on site. St Mawes has seasonal dog bans on all the main beaches in the summer. Carne & Pendower Beaches require dogs to be on leads during the summer months.
