The Kings Arms – 01872 530202
The Kings Arms is a traditional village pub in the centre of Tregony. A beautiful, old coaching inn, the Kings Arms was refurbished in 2005 to bring it back to its original glory. Enjoy the original slate floors and wood panelled walls of the three bars. You can even see an original well through the floor. Outside there is a pleasant courtyard and pub garden. The traditional pub meals are good value with generous portion sizes. The only criticism we would have is over St Austell Brewery beer! On the whole, we just prefer the other local brews, but make your own mind up!
The Kings Head, Ruan Lanihorne – 01872 501263
The delightful Kings Head in the little village of Ruan Lanihorne is a few miles outside Tregony. Probably doing the best food in a pub on the Roseland, but having said that, do not expect pub food or prices. Do expect superb local produce, well cooked with imagination, friendly service and wonderful Skinners Brewery ales. They have a little patio area and a small garden outside during the summer. It is essential to book here as space is very limited.
