Pleasure Boat Trips
The St Mawes Ferry in itself is a superb way to get on the water. Enjoy a trip to Falmouth, which takes about 20 minutes, where you can take in the sights of this historic port. The National Maritime Museum is worth a visit and the walk up to Pendennis Castle is certainly worth it (or you can catch a bus!).
St Mawes Harbour is a good place to start to look for a trip. There are usually advertising boards by the slipway in the harbour by the Ship & Castle Hotel. There are trips from here to the Helford River, Smugglers Cottage and also fishing trips available.
Enterprise Boats are the largest of the operators and offer a service around the River Fal. You can hop on or off at Trelissick, Smugglers Cottage, Malpas, Truro or Falmouth.
