Ruan Lanihorne is a charming hamlet and Civil Parish just a few short miles from Truro between the Fal River and the Ruan River. The King’s Head public house in the centre of the village serves up fresh, local produce and is well worth a visit. There are lots of lovely river side and country walks around the hamlet. Ruan Lanihorne is a beautifully peaceful village, perfect if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
A few minutes drive will take you to Tregony where there’s a great pub and village shop. The beaches of the Roseland are only a 5-10 minutes drive from Ruan Lanihorne. A little further and the pretty fishing villages of Portloe, Portscatho & St Mawes can be easily reached. Nearby Truro has lots of supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
